Thanks Julie:-) The sun was on the flowers & the background was in shade under a patio so I exposed for the flowers & the background went really dark.

going for the arsenal of girly photos, eh? i like it though. it would be interesting to see the effect if you darken the reds and brighten yellows a bit. that should give the shot a bit more natural-pop and 3D effect. -Abstract
