I guess you guys are right. The bigger flower is just too attractive to the eyes, and it's competing for attention. If I want to do the bud only, I probably should throw the big flower out of focused, or not having it in the frame at all. Thanks. -dylan

I like your idea Dylan but agree with Noe. I feel I need a little more of the open flower in the image. This would also help to cut down on some of the green and open space.

I thought I would give a glimse to what the bud will become when it blooms, but didn't want to give attention to the big flower :-) Thanks for your input though -dylan

I love the red and green, but I would like to see either more of the flower on top or less - it competes for my attention with the bud.
