Thanks much for your help Mary Anne. I couldn't quite get enough courage to add as much grain as you did to the one in pending (though it does look pretty cool), but I did grain this one up a bit more and think it helps with the mood.

I also like it better, Brent. Would you consider adding a bit more graininess? I've put another version into Pending...hope you don't mind. I have to admit, though, that I've never tried using "noise" before this challenge, and I think I may tend to overdo it.

Thanks Mary Anne :-) I went back to my images and did find one that could include more of the setting around our Blues Man. I think I like this version better and hope others will too.

Brent, I love the touch of that old wringer washer on the left. Do you have any shots showing more of his environment? This is perfect for a high-grain image! Actually, I might increase the contrast before adding grain in PP.
