Grain is grain no matter how subtle, I think the problem in this challenge is that because grain is the topic we might be expecting it to hit us between the eyes. For the mood of this shot I like the subtleness of the grain as is.

Thanks all for your comments. Gosh more grain? I can see grain so I don't know if I should add any more. Perhaps that's my own personal problem.... I see more grain in other images entered than I think is necessary... perhaps i'm being too conservative in my grain sharing. Is there a fine line between two much grain or too little - or is there a middle ground which is just right for the image? If anyone else thinks more grain is warranted, I'll certainly be interested. :) jano

This is a beautiful image indeed Jano! I feel all sticky just looking at the humdity it suggests. I have to say as much as I like it, I find myself wishing for more grain with the topic in mind. I know you won't get noise or grain in camera with that wonderful new thing you are shooting with there- hope you are having fun with it :-)

Lumious and mysterious. The grain in the cloudy atmosphere accentuates the shift in tones. Very good! -- Bruce

Thanks for commenting... I did replace with a very slightly added grain... Very little pp here with the exception of contrast and some hue/sat - no crop. jano

This is lovely but I can't see "grain". It's still a keeper. -tv
