Thanks Aam, Brent, and TV. Aam I have trouble with properly exposed clean photos. This noisy photo is right up my alley ;-)

You are doing really well in this challenge, Neo. Did you take a class about noise or something :)
Brent 27-Jul-2007 20:03
Really great Neo! You did a great job processing this one- really looks like it is from another era.

What springs to mind seeing this is Diane Arbus (I think), maybe others.. its a combination of the bizarre mugging for the camera and excellent exposure fearlessly for the highlights... a mundane situation made into something compelling and expressionistic. Really memorable. -tv

Thanks everyone! Shu, I just did some levels adjusting, dodging and burning, sharpening x 2, and then added some grain. Nothing fancy - just had some good luck :-)

Just perfect!! Curious, did you use filters to get the great edge and shading because the PP is what makes this special? shu

The pp here is excellent and the grain works with this image. It reminds me of the Rascals :) jano

Very retro, Neo. Good job of pp here, and of course the expression on his face is perfect.
