I'm having a harder time with grain in the color images Mary Anne, but somehow I do like color just a bit better on this one. Nice work, I really like this image.

So far I like your colour one in Pending Mary Anne, I think the graduation in the sky looks better.

I like this version very much Mary Anne! The subject matter, subtle tones along with the grain are a good match.

Thanks, Rod. I'll take a look. Graininess does seem more appropriate for b & w, but I just thought I'd give it a try in color. However, I'm beginning to think that emphasizing the grain make the photo look more like a graphic print of some type. If you really want a photo look, maybe color and grain just don't work.

Nicely done Mary Anne, I don't know if it's because its really quite here this challenge but I seem to be messing with everyone's picys:-) I converted this to B&W & bumped the contrast up a massive plus 35 & I like it much better. I put it in Pending:-)
