Dreamishly nice and a strong painterly feel, the "bleeding" shadows/contours are wonderful, yet this doesn't look manipulated - looks like a real photo. Reminds me a little of some drawings by Egon Schiele.

Thanks for the encouragement. I think I'm braver now than I was when I took this. I guess it again comes down to knowing when to break the rules. I finally feel more confident about the rules, so I am more likely to break them now - for good reason, of course. :) I am known for my odd viewpoints, so perhaps its just a matter of remembering to try. :) Thanks again! ~ LOnnit

If you recognise this as a good shot then you have the creativity to try & get shots like this. Easier said than done but certainly worth going out just to get this type of shot. I think I've seen some shots of yours with a bit of blur so I think you can do it..................I know you can do it:-)

Thanks. This wasn't supposed to be like this! She was at the side of the pool, preparing to launch backwards. Just as I was about to click, she released. I got this, and at first was going to trash it. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I opened it up, instead, and played around with the tones and got this, and I was in love. It was a matter of just recognizing a wonderful error for the art that it is. It is most definitely one of my personal favorites. I wish I had the creativity to intentionally do this! LOL! ~ LOnnit

This is terrific. One of the best from you. Great example of taking an ordinary event and transforming it into something, well, transforming. The tint works well. -tv
