This Christ is about all of the old church
recovered after a snow-avalanche had distroyed
most of the hamlet of Mogno in Southern Switzerland.

It was, eventually, placed in the new church
designed by the renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta
where it contrasts with the very modern building.
