Thanks Maurice:-) It's funny triangles seem to work well in lots of picys.

Great composition, the separated negative space areas work really well.

Thanks Aamm & RK:-) I don't know if the dust is a problem at F8, I have seen it before on me picys & I'm normally on F8 so maybe it does. So far I've only used a blower to get rid of it & the last time I had a mini attachment on our vacuum cleaner to draw the dust out as I used the blower. I think cleaning sensors is a young man's sport:-)

Or maybe Rod cloned them out quickly :)

Both of the bird pics are very nice, mate.

Hmm...I was pretty sure that I saw some spots around the middle of left edge of the frame (facing the picture). They are not there now!. Maybe its time to get my eyes checked. - RK

Thanks RK & Doug:-) You must have good eyes RK or a dirty monitor as I just reloaded this in PS & enlarged it & still couldn't see any sensor dust, well not the dark blob kind. Isit in one place on the shot?

Good find Rod. The branches make for nice compostion. -Doug

Good one Rod. Like the V shape of the branch with two birds against the blue sky (no clouds). Like the way the birds are looking in the same direction. Do see some sensor dust...

Thank you my dear:-)

Cool birds Rod, very fun colors with the sky and the eye liner, think it is a perfect negative space shot. Yvonne

Thanks all:-) I didn't think the flying bird in the forum thread had negative space wiv the tree behind it Tommy. Anyhow we all agree this is an awesome neg space shot & the flying one is only great:-):-) Don't be too envious Mikey as these Eagles don't fly as gracefully as your ones, you would think these were parrots, the awkward way they fly:-)

Bleeding! Wot! No bleeding here ":^) I like the way the negative space and the branches lead my eye in and out of the picy, and all that sort of artiiistic talk. Great shot, Rod. I'm envious of you 'avin real Eagles to shoot at. Cheers, -mikey

Nice composition, etc. Rod as usual, but the flying bird in the forum is better in my very humbled opinion. In this one, the blue "negative space" actually bleeds into the two birds. -tv

Way to go, Rod! This is an excellent example of negative space with clearly defined shape(s). Colors are good, also.

Nice shot Rod! I really like the beautiful blue sky and the tree branches going through the frame diagonally. The birds themselves are a great subject as well. Well done!
