Beautiful golden tones and bokeh. Being stuck at F4 is no sin ;) I once got stuck on f2.4 for days and was also shooting golden reeds. Really fun trying it out. -Techo

With the lens you have you don't have to worry about using it wide open. That's one of the reasons people buy L lenses ;)

Thanks Britt and Rod - Not sure why i'm stuck at F4.... but I appreciate any tips. This and the tiny sweat bee were both done in macro, manual focus. Got lots to learn so I appreciate any crituques. jano

I don't know wot lens you're using but it seems most lenses sweet spot is around the F8 which can also help keep things sharper in close ups. Nice lighting again.
