Thank you CJ!

Great idea Barry! The image may benefit from a little increase in contrast and saturation but still a great shot and definitely delicate! CJ

Nicely composed shot! It really has eye appeal, IMO. shu

Well...this will have to do! I guess I got lucky before because I couldn't even build one today. Now I like this one even more! :-)

OK! OK! I'll work on some different versions when I get home from work tonight and see if I can improve it by taking into consideration as many of your very good comments as possible. Thanks for the encouragement!

This very delicate house of cards has definite possibilities, but could use some more exploration. A very well respected college photography teacher (who's name I forget) used to give projects to photograph the same object in as many different positions and situations as possible on one roll of film, then select from them five that best met the objective. The purpose was to find the surprises the would be discovered in the process. -tv

Thanks Rod! I really like the Photomatrix program for HDR and looking around in Pbase it seems to be the most popular HDR option available.

An extra well done Barry as yours is the first HDR that looks natural....................I'm impressed mate:-)

Thanks Rod and Tom. Versions I took with more dramatic lighting or higher contrast ended up with blown out whites on the face of the glossy cards. I ended up going with an HDR conversion using Photomatrix to try and make it as realistic as possible. I like your suggestion though and I may have tried some additional shots but the thing fell down and ended my session prematurely! *#!*#&

It's really nice, but also has GREAT potential with just a litte tweaking! I agree with Rod on the contrast & shadows.

Good idea Barry we all know how delicate this is as a structure. The shot looks to need a bit more contrast & for a picy challenge it may have been best to set this up with some more dramatic lighting & a plain backdrop. Look how good the shadows are at the bottom you can make the shadows a bigger part of the shot. Then again you can just say, bugger that I'm off to play golf:-)
