Somehow there seems to be a contradiction between riding around in a gas-guzzling van to decry the obscene profits that oil companies are making.

I think the "soft sand" warning refers to the passageway near the rock wall on the right. Cars were driving up and down the beach with no problem. --Mary Anne

I guess they don't read either, or is the "soft sand" warning not intended for them? Good photojournalistic shot. -tv
