Now this really gets attention. Good shimmering effect in stark b+w. I keep coming back to it because it so well distills the essential abstract qualities from what must have been a much more even toned, colorful, and complicated image. I wish I had the self-control to do the same thing. -tv

A perfect composition of wiggles!! It's great! shu

I was also struck by this one, Mikey. It has a good graphic quality to it...and abstract, of course.

Thanks for the comments, Tom, Tom & Jano. This pic was taken at the same pond as the other "Heaven Above, ..." pic, but I was facing a different direction and the clouds were all I could see in the reflection, so the B&W was a natural. The funny thing is this pic is upside-down and the more I look at it the more I can see that it doesn't matter a bit. Now that is abstract. -mikey

Definitely abstract and an excellent choice in b&w!!! I like the processing here with just the shimmer of lines .... A great topic piece for framing :) jano

Very cool! But then I'm a sucker for a good b&w pic. Nice lines & composition Mikey. I'm pretty sure this is water reflection, looks like those noise measurement graphs.
