Increasing contrast & saturation will amplify the normal vignetting. It seems it's just something that we have to live with since it is noticable in all but the best lenses, especially at wide angles. Nice photo idea regardless. I like the depth and the air of mystery. -tv

I just increased the contrast and saturation. The light was pretty dull that morning. I wanted dawn light, but then it was overcast and grey. Sad. I didn't do anything to add the vignetting and I don't know where it came from. Strange, huh? Oh, I probably adjusted the white balance so that the sand didn't look so red.
