It was just really overcast that morning. I was really disappointed as I don't usually get up before dawn to load a stupidly heavy bike onto my car to drive to the beach. But I thought I'd try it. The sky did such strange things. The light was really flat so it required quite a bit of tweaking.

The sky looks like its had some sort of Gaussian blurring, was there a strong mist out at sea Christina?

Good composition, especially the proportions of brown sand vs blue water-sky. I'm not so concerned by the vignetting, which to me seems more severe in the lower corners than the upper probably amplified by post processing. -tv

I don't know what's up with the sky. This was what happened when I processed it. Any ideas on why it happened?

This is a terrific shot, a fantastic shot even but what have you done to the sky Christina? In a way I could say it suits this shot but seeing the same effect in your next entry spoils it for me
