Apparently unlike film, picys from digital cameras need at the very least to be sharpened. We can turn up the settings for more in camera processing but the results don't look too natural so it's almost a necessity to learn some basic PP to get a decent picy. There's some sort of filter on the sensor that seems to put a haze on the picy compared to the PP shot.

No B&W in digital yet... still learning to pp in color, which I did more of on this one. I used to be of the ultra-pure school that said absolutely no pp allowed (also saves time). Then I started participating, but got no notice with my bland shots. This challenge is a good one because you encourage active interchange of ideas as entries are being posted. Like listening to the coach, it provides an opportunity to improve on the spot. -tv

Yes this sits easier on the eye for sure, I would have thought shots like this would be suicidal in NY city. Well done Tommy. Have you had a play with a B&W version of this yet?
