Clouds over Trafalgar Square *

I had difficulty realigning the verticals the first time, but I've had another go. Is this version better ?
The downside is that the image gets cropped a bit at the sides and I think loses some sense of scale. What do you reckon ???

Great shot. But, there's something odd about this picture...there seems to be a halo around some of the buildings..maybe its my eye playing tricks.

Hey Rose, this version still offers a nice sense of scale to me. You know the detail just looks a little bit off maybe. Possibly it is being caused by manipulating the verticals, but I just wonder if that lens might be sharper stopped down a little instead of wide open at its max of f4? Maybe pushing it to its limits in width and aperture at the same time doesn't hit the sweet spot for the lens? Just a thought :-)

What a great wide angle and the distance is so clearly shown. But why does everything appear to be falling inward? I realize that it is probably the lens but why? jano

Can I still hear the Academy of St Martin the Fields off there to the right? Such annoying distraction... music. Anyway, I love the way you have anchored your frame precisely aligned with the top of the stairs. With such a solid foundation, you can get away with anything else, even buildings falling away.. -tv

Very cool scene Rose! It does give a feeling of great distance right down to the clock tower. Nice dramatic sky you have captured too. I remember the first time I visited Trafalgar Square was on May Day and the fountains were full of naked protestors :-) Nice work.
