Patagonia1*

Argentina

To get an idea of the size
of the «Perito Moreno» glacier:
the front wall you see here
is about seventy meters high (230 ft.)

other sizes: small medium original auto

Out of camera, Rod, this shot had a few trees in the foreground (to give some «distance information») but much too much water between those trees and the glacier (I wouldn’t want to read tv’s comment on it ;-)) The image looked, therefore, somewhat boring to my eyes, while I—for myself—love this version here. Thank you both, Rod and tv, for your kind remarks! — db.

The shot does look very nice but what did the full frame look like? I imagine you framed what looked like a good shot in the camera.

Well I'm arriving at the first last and it's a beauty - cropped just right and incredibly atmospheric. What a huge glacier. Very successful shot. -tv

All three of your entries are great, Daniel. Can't decide which one I like most.

Oh, and I just love the color blue.
