I moved this from Eligible, to make room for other submissions. I am still trying other processing techniques, and I might move it back. In any event, I do appreciate the comments/

I'm afraid the shrinkwrap effect is a bit too much for me as well Charlie, but I expect you have some more images from the gardens you could submit. My girlfiend is a big gardener, yet hasn't been to Butchart Gardens yet. I was born in Victoria, so should get her over there to see my home town and the gardens too.

You made some nice art here Charlie. A bit over processed making it difficult to critque the photography. It would make a very good stained glass window. -COAmature

“Bane”? Filters are the “Bane of Photography”? I should have thought that they were the “Tools of the Professional,” and the “Toys of the Amateur.” LOL. In any event, I am still in the stage of, “Isn’t it fun to play with filters?”

We did get back from our Butchart Gardens trip rather late last night, and I only had a short time to look through my collection of photos, post-process a couple, and get them ready to post this morning. I’ll see if I can make it less of a sadness-trigger.

Yes putting glad wrap on your shot makes it look like take away:-) Filters are the bane of photography but I'm sure Charlie's enjoying himself making me sad:-)
