Look at those eyes! Nicely framed face. Very attractive subject. Too much distraction outside the subject and framing area. Crop it out for a great shot. (or aren't we allowed to crop?) -tv

Thanks CJ and Rod!

This is nicely framed & she seems to have swimming pool eyes too which looks good. My exif on the 350D is the same it tells me I haven't used the flash when I have. The light on the water looks to be more natural light than the flash to me. Well done Barry:-)

Very cute portrait Barry and that flash worked great on the water. Very nicely framed too! CJ

Thanks Aam! I always use the center-weighted metering. Maybe that helped.

Really nice Barry. Glad/surprised that the reflection from the bars didn't throw your exposure off. Like others, I like the water behind her too.

Barry, mine (A710is) does the same thing with the flash info. Maybe a Canon thing? Anyone know about this?

Thanks Tom! The lighting came via the built-in flash. Not sure why the EXIF info says "Flash used: No" when the correct answer is "Yes".

Very nice lighting, captures the girl's wonderful skin & expression. Nicely framed as well.

Thanks Jano! I wish I could say I planned to capture the highlights the way they are but I really just got lucky! It looks really great at full resolution.

This is really great Barry. It works well for the framing aspect and is a very nice portrait as well. Your model looks like she is having a good time too. Excellent work.
