There's no time to "frame" this kind of shot in the camera. It's a great shot, so work with it. IMHO, a tighter crop will get the bleached fence frame down to less glaring proportions and better emphasize the animal as if a longer telephoto lens were used. Then darken to taste. -tv

Thank you CJ, will see what I can do. :)

Very cute Sue Anne! You could play around with contrast, darkening it and maybe a little saturation if you like to bring out the color and texture of the blocks and wood, but nice as is too! CJ

Thank you Tom,
I waited about 15-20 minutes, I knew he was in there wanting to come out. It was just the timing of waiting and taking his picture when he peeked out. :)

Thanks, this is a fun shot! Good example of how the subject can be a very small part of the picture.
How long did you have to wait for this shot Sue Anne?

Thank you Brent, Doug and Rich,

I didn't plan on waiting too long, lucky he kept peeking out.

Neat shot and well framed. Rich

Love it Sueanne. The slanted wall, mysteriousness of the groundhog, the framing that doesn't look planned out... Just love it. -COAmature

Very nice Sue Anne. You know at first glance I was thinking it was too bad the lighting seemed a bit harsh, but then this give an impression he doesn't want to be seen stepping out into the spotlight. Fun image and great work.
