Kenneth, why don't you crop it in your computer and look at the two images side by side? I tried blocking out the signs with my hands, and I think the cropped version draws more attention to the central part of the image, but it's your call. As you can see, some people prefer it as is.

I love the immobility of the figures. The humans and the swimmer look like figures in a wax museum, especially the girl with her arms glued to her side. One man has the camera pressed to his forehead since eternity, another blends into the light like he's the attraction, and the swimmer is just as static.

Mary Anne, I agree the posters on the wall may distract from the image, but I think cropping them out would crowd the silhouetted figures and the aquarium glass too much. There needs to be space around them, I think. Maybe the posters on the sides need to be toned down or removed in photoshop? What do you think?
I love aquarium shots like this. Would you consider cropping off both sides to eliminate the two signs? Light colored areas always draw the eye, and in this case I think they distract the viewer from the main subject.
