She has requesting something more graceful and flattering.

Very unusual and creative. * I would appreciate it even more if distortion of your daughters face would be more symmetric, but know that it is difficult to achieve at such a wide angle

I don't think I've heard of using a wide angle lens to flatter someone in a portrait before so congratulations on trying to break new ground mate:-) I would suggest putting a 50mm or so lens on your camera & follow your daughter around the horses & concentrate on getting picys of her & making the horses a lot less part of the shot. Only two things struck me when I first viewed this, the horses head & the Flickr tilt:-)

I ilke the wide angle effect in this shot Bruce. nice (almost undistorted) face, tiny looking legs, and a non-prominent rider. although as your daughter's face is distorted and she clearly not the 'main' subject of the photo, i consider this as horse's portait not your daughter's. i like the photo though.-Abstract

She's very cute, Bruce! This was very wise of you, but I am afraid that now the horse is mad at you for giving him such a distorted look! A good portrait of a true horsewoman nonetheless! ~Sharon
