Very independent lady. Great capture.

This is a very strong image with a lot of emotion. What a great shot. -COAmature

Great portrait of a "Goth" looking kid with a mixture of a look of defiance and sadness in the expression - nobody understands him I bet. Good shot. CJ

Thanks Abs and others. The she is actually a he, and it was rather windy that day, so the hair actually wasnt necessarily fixed.

very very "edgy" portrait and definitely captivating stare with "f**k off" attitude.
the only thing bothers me, actually a lot, is her hair. they are clearly "arranged" to look like this. it doesnt looks/feels naturally chaotic.
none the less, this is one of my favourites of the gallery so far. -Abstract

Very goth and to a point disturbing image. It makes me feel like i want her to be happier and things can improve - or maybe this is just her in this time. That left eye does it for me. Great job capturing her essence. jano

You were right Sharon. Soon after I cropped it, everyone including myself said it was an improvement. Thanks, and thanks to everyone for the nice comments. I hope I accurately captured the youth's impassable disguise that conceals something inside.

Nice work Blade! You've really captured the models "extreme attitude"! I like the tonality of the shot as well!

Wow, what intensity! Blade, you have done a great job here! Would you try something for me? Try cropping the background off one side or another all the way up to the shoulder and see what a difference that makes to this magnificent stare. I tried it on one side then the other and got a different feel each time. I think a more thirds composition will make this even stronger than it already is. Good work! ~Sharon
