I’m glad to have one more ctfchallenger on my side on this question, Christina: thanks for your kind words! — db.

I'm very happy to see this portrait again! It's a great one that I really liked from the earlier challenge! It's well suited to this challenge! -Christina

Thanks a lot, Sharon, for your friendly comment! I—for myself—see the same picture differently under the *optics* of another topic (and, therefore, like to see images coming up again in the challenges): but I am aware of the fact that some co-challengers do not agree (to the extent that they would never vote for an image posted before)... — db.

I, for one, certainly don't mind seeing wonderful images like these again, Daniel, thanks for posting them. I love the sharpness of his left eye in this, it draws me right into the heart of the picture. Very nice indeed! ~Sharon

As a matter of fact, TomD., I usually avoid including human beings in my images (on the contrary: I often do wait for quite a time until they all have left my frame). Nevertheless, at family gatherings—where I know my «victims» and they know me—I like making portraits like these, as everybody is absolutely at ease; in Mediterranean, Latin cultures taking pictures of people is anyway much easier than in countries like the one I come from or the one you live in... Thanks for commenting! — db.

Another good one db. This challenge is really changing my perceptions (duh, that is the idea). I had been shying away from people pics till now. Thanks Sharon!
