Brilliant as it is but for the purposes of the challenge I agree with Jano a lower angle may have emphasised the backlit effect. Nice One.

Thanks for your suggestions Jano. I actually took lots of different angles and ended up choosing this one because it emphasizes the reflections more than the ones at lower angles. When I set the shot up I hadn't even really thought about the reflections but I ended up liking that element the most! Sometimes you just get lucky:-)

Lovely moody shot Barry. I'm not sure about the angle though.. I think something lower and more direct would give this a better sense of what your after here... which I think is calm or melancholy. Why not take one of your subjects and focus in? I see that Rose wonderfully backlit... :) jano

:-)hehe Barry after a couple of years of trying I've finally influenced someone.................I now feel fulfilled:-)

Rod you have convinced me to never used filters again. I even took the air filter out of my Toyota and the spam filter off my email. ;-)

You can't fool us Barry we can see you have used the stained glass filter in Photoshop to get this very nice looking shot:-).................And you must have used the nice light filter too:-)
Well done mate:-)
