Thanks Sharon - I really like how this turned out too. And Kevin, just for you I'll see if I can find a few more water shots! ;-) CJ

Really nice b&w, CJ with great composition! ~Sharon

Sure, tease me with a picture of water that is not frozen. Just for that, i am not going to thaw out the lake for you this summer ;-)

I knew it wouldn't be long before Mikey started to upset the girls so calm down Carole even though Mikey mentioned Blown Highlights as well as using a treatment. I never ask ladies if their hair is a natural colour or wot treatment its had:-) It's just that Mikey has lived a long time in the mountains & is prone to peeing on trees. But he's a really nice bloke & loves giving us warm fuzzies, something he learnt from his pet Grizzly Bear:-)
Marlice stays in a nice Hotel in town & just visits Mikey on weekends:-)

Thanks Rod and Mikey. I'm not sure what you mean about "treatment" Mikey but if you mean using levels, shadows/highlights, brightness/contrast, USM and remove color, then that's what I did! :-) CJ

Wot's XLNT treatment? The trouble with treatments is all the shots treated have the same look or feel, not very desirable I would have thought:-)

Very nice image, XLNT treatment, CJ. It would have worked in "Well Blown Highlights", too. No doubt about the direction of the lighting, here. Warm fuzzies, -mikey

Gawd this is a work of ahrt Carole:-) The grain & limited tonal range really combine to make this work. Well done megirl:-)
