New Life 2 *

Home

Same subject, same series of shots, slight change of angle and a little broader field of view. I think this added some color and a bit more interest.

The bokeh is excellent. The point of focus is just a bit off I think, would've liked to see the tiny plant hairs a little more in focus.

Thanks for the kind words, y'all. I can't say enough about this lens, in terms of quality of images and bokeh. It could be about a pound lighter, tho. Regards and thanks again, -mikey P.S. Rod, I took out the "bird":^), Sue Anne, its a geranium.

Beautiful and I like the colors / DOF. We have one of these plants at my fathers, I think it is in the same family.
Rod 19-Mar-2007 08:00
Yes I like this one better as well wiv great colours too. Gawd that does look like a bird, I think you should clone it out as I can't stop looking at it:-)hehe

Perfect example of why I need to add an SLR to my arsenal. That DOF isn't happening with my S2. -COAmature

Thanks for the comment, Rod. What do you think of this one? Haha, I just noticed what looks like a bird, in the lower right. It'd have to be a very small bird and we don't have any mini-birds in the house, that I know of, anyway. Cheers, -mikey

I think we need diagrams & 100% crops of this to prove its in focus:-) Very nice bokeh & spot on backlighting. We expect nothing less from the host, even though he's sick:-) Hope you feel better mate:-)
