Beautiful. If it should be cropped at all, I'd crop half of the "black" from top and bottom only. But I really do prefer it the way it is! Very nice effect.

I think the "large" border works well, increases the impact of the contrast between the woman & the view.

Thanks for your comments all. The border is indeed the wall. I hadn't noticed it much before, but now that you mention it, it does stand out in that not-so-good sort of way.

I agree with Abstracts points about the shot. Very nice. I wonder if just cropping the sides in, to the width of the vertical window panel supports, would work better. - Henry

one of my favourites of the gallery so far. the north sige...side face...hair bun...woman exactly in the center of the window panel...just awesome composition. although i agree about the black border being too wide. That might as well be the actual wall but still, closer crop should certainly help. -Abstract

Nice capture. If this were my image, I might consider cropping out much of the black border / wall. Nicely done. markjay
