That's it Carole now you have admitted to a yearning to shoot a motherboard shot (I blame the drugs you're on) I won't ever talk to you again, besides I have a new friend named Mikey who luvs mud:-)

Mikey - don't mind Rod, just tell him to bugger off and you'll shoot whatever you like! Since I'm housebound for a while, I've been wondering around the house during our rain/sleet storms searching for something to shoot that hadn't been posted yet but I have so little imagination, that I had to resort to the ones I just submitted. Maybe next challenge I'll feel up to getting out and finding something interesting, but for now..... ;-).
And Rod - be nice, Mikey does great work and to tell you the truth, I was going to do a shot similar to this myself but Mikey's looks much nicer! CJ

No I'm not much of a Googler I'm a bit of a Luddite with all this new technology Michael:-) When it's very quite here (which is becoming the norm lately) I often lurk at the Dslr challenge & I think in one of your posts was a link to your web site which I found really interesting & worthwhile.
Seeing as though this motherboard is dead why not get rid of it so you won't be tempted to shoot it again:-)

Sharon - Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I thought it did look kinda city-like, too. Haha, tho, I changed the caption to clarify: I'm not all that brave, as its a dead one. I was brave (and dumb) enough to kill it in the first place, tho (upgrading memory without unhooking the power cord, duh!). Taking a quick look around my 'office' it was something small I could macro for the challenge, as the outside is still pretty snowy white and muddy brown ":^) I'll keep my eyes peeled for more, tho.
Rod - Thanks for the welcome; its good to be here. Hey, you're kind of a Sherlock, eh? You had to do a bit of snooping to find that, didn't ya? At least a google search, anyway. Thanks for looking and the comment to the houses. As for macros of the house, .. tire treads? adobe cracks? On the circuit board, yeah, not that exciting, but ... oh well, it was there so I shot it ":^) Cheers, -mikey

Gday Michael & welcome to our little challenge:-) I'm not very keen on shots of circuit boards as they seem very uninteresting. I know it's cold where you live but from wot I've read on your tyre mud houses would a macro of some of the walls or features work. Your houses are a great concept, good onya:-)

Good diagonal composition on this, and it does look like a town from the air! I think you are very brave to take your computer apart to do this shot! ~Sharon
