I don't know how you capture these things as I have trouble keeping up wiv them with me naked eye let alone trying to compose focus & shoot. Looks great now Carole & the background did blur nicely, I really luv bokeh in shots.

Thanks Rod - for the comments and concern! I've been "out of commission", so to speak, for the last few weeks. I have re-processed the picture a bit now to try and tone down the brightness and fix a few other things I wasn't happy with. Better? This was taken with the 70-300 lens and I was happy with how smooth the bokah turned out - that's just grass in the background. This is my first dragonfly picture - I hope to get more this summer but they are flighty little buggers and hard to capture! CJ

Bleeding L we have all bin worried about where you were (well at least I was)hehe:-) Haven't seen you for ages, it's like you have been to the crossroads & made a deal wiv the devil & come back as a great photographer:-) Three really nice shots Carole well done.
The fly & stalk look overexposed here but somehow it seems to work really well. Some deal you made:-)
