This could be a good lesson to posters that put pure white Photoshopped backgrounds in their picys as pure white looks terrible (in most cases, always exceptions) but here it's just whitish & not so overpowering.

Thanks much Rod, I took several orchid shots in the greenhouse and went with this one for this challenge because of the unique look. The white background is actually just the greenhouse window which I thought worked out pretty well being so evenly lit.

The orchid looks almost aggressive, its a very clear shot too. I'm not so sure about the whitish background although it does enhance the sort of aggressiveness I'm picking up. Normally these shots look more romantic & pretty so its good to be different. Well done Brent:-)
