It is a very interesting observation comparing the two versions. I have gotten the SAME feedback from other people outside this forum too. The only difference between this and the V1 is how I processed. I had no idea it would make such a difference in opinion. I will remember this when I process something and always consider the viewers's point of view. This was a important lesson for me.

It looks like we have a battle of the sexes going on here. The ladys prefer this one while the blokes are drawn to the other one. Interesting...

I think I like this one the best. The colors and lighting are really wonderful here!

I like both versions as well but find this over saturated version to be the more striking. This really does catch my eye. ~Sharon

Cat, I like both versions you've posted now better than the original, but I think I'm leaning toward the other one for the reason that it shows more of the texture of the flower. Which one do you think is closer to the true colors?
