First Aid in the Jungle *

I know there's probably too much facial body parts visible, but then again the focus is clearly the bandaged finger. So my (*) is mainly about the question: does this work for you?
For me, the pull back and forth effect between the focussed finger and the out-of-focus smile tells a story. I've sometimes tried to obtain the same effect later, but it never really worked.

This definitely fits the challenge topic to me. You're right about the DOF making it clear what is the subject of this photo, the finger. I agree with you about the tension between her face and the finger. It's quite a nice shot!

I like it. I think the sharp focus with the out of focus grin tells the story perfectly. My one knitpick is that the out of focus part is a little too busy. Perhaps you could crop out some of the jungle on the right.
