Thanks Lee:-) but I didn't frame it this good as it was Carole that made me crop it down to this:-)

Thanks Bill:-)

With the crop and edits this is right on now. Her nails just jump right out.
Rod 11-Feb-2007 00:13
Thanks Brent:-)

I have to say this is looking better with the crop and the B+W looks nice too. Another goodun'.
Rod 07-Feb-2007 07:58
There you go Carole B&W now can I have a bleeding rest you're wearing me out:-)
Listen to Carole everyone "no competition from me" she says in a sweet innocent voice. Wot about your shoulder shot then a!!!!!!!:-)hehe
ctfchallenge06-Feb-2007 18:29
I really like it, although I did like the B&W too. What do you think?
I don't think it will do me any good to get you to crop this down to nothing - no competition from me anyway! :-) CJ
Rod 06-Feb-2007 10:41
Here it is Miss crop till I drop:-)
The B&W didn't seem to suit as well as the colour with this crop...........I think,.....wot you think:-)
I know wot you're up to Carole keep telling me to crop me shots until there's nothing left....... That's an old trick:-)hehe

OK Rod, Christina has spoken - multi body parts from others is on-topic! Very nice picture of another special moment - too bad the angle wasn't a little different so you could get both the groom's hands in there. Maybe cropping out the groom's hand would look good - did you try that? CJ

Very nice and this tells a story :)
Squared C05-Feb-2007 17:40
Yes, this shot seems to me to be on topic. It is very nices storytelling. And I must second the compliment on framing!
Rod 04-Feb-2007 19:31
Thanks all:-) This was at the wedding on Saturday, the hand on the left is the bridegroom & the wedding celebrant with the book on the right. I think this was one of the flash shots that had an over exposed look as can be seen from the bh on the bridegrooms hand.
I think Christina meant only about three of any one persons body parts Carole:-)
monix 04-Feb-2007 17:14
I don't think it matters that there are 5 hands. They're all hands, I guess. It's not like there's a hand, a nose, lips, ears and so on. There's a pic in the Exhibition gallery that has 4 or 5 feet in it so... Either both of them go, or both of them stay
ctfchallenge04-Feb-2007 16:00
Nice shot Rod but I see 5 hands! Maybe if the other hands were more out-of-focus it would fit Christina's guidelines more? Lovely picture though. CJ

These body parts tell such a full story. If this was not posed it is superior recognition of framing. I find the male hand coming into the frame from the left distracting. Could it be cropped out to bring more attention to the bride's hands? Bill Warren
