Man on a Checkered Floor

Ok, I was confused, but now I am clear. I was thinking
centered subject, as opposed to center weighted, and
those are two very different things. Although all my
subjects had been centered, the viewers' eyes were drawn
to the subject's eyes, which were not in the center of
the frame, despite the fact that the subject was centered.
Here, the subject is off-center, however, the eye is
drawn to the brightest area, which is the direct center
of the image, where the bright white, the leg, and the
black stripe all meet. Voila! I have learned something!
And isn't that the whole purpose of the challenges?
Thanks!

Like the PP a lot.

Good one Lonnit! The processing and crop really draw the eye to the center. It seems a little tilted to the right though. CJ

Done well Lonnit :) This image is such that, for me, my eye does immediately go to center but then explores all remaining avenues. For this image, it is probably the most confusing yet fits the topic theme perfectly, which is something I had hoped for. jano

This challenge certainly hsa been just that. However, I wouldn't want it ANY other way!! It's a cool shot, Lonnit and, I like the colors. Markjay
