Railing*

San Sebastián (Donostia), Spain

Sorry: there’s nothing special in the center.
It’s all about what’s so centered around the center:
San Sebastián’s emblematic railing!

other sizes: small medium original auto

Thanks again, Christina! For me as a professional (text only) journalist, the limits are probably narrower than for most other people. Generally—and in order to simplify a rather complicated subject—I tell people exactly what you say: I do on my computer without hesitating most of those things photographers working with film used to do in the darkroom; but that is about the limit for me. —

I completely understand your point of view... I have a hard time trying to decide what is the appropriate level of post processing. Before coming to Pbase I was hardcore anti-post, but then I thought about the amount of time that has been spent in darkrooms getting the same results and I softened a little. Maybe too much...

Regardless of what you do, I like the shot.

I can clearly see what you mean, Christina. But though I can imagine how this could improve the image, for me as a journalist cloning out certain things might not be as «reasonable a thing to do» as it might be for you as an artist... Thanks for commenting: I do appreciate your kind words! — db.

I like what we see through the center. I wonder if cloning out the boats that fall outside the center might be a reasonable thing to do...
