After the topic sinking in better I think the others are right & of course there's darkness represented here as there is in the museum shot. Wot was throwing me at first was there was such well lit great lighting on the focal points in both shots that I was thinking the darkness took too much of a second place. Great shots RK:-)

This is a great example of darkness to me. The clouds look very dark and menacing as does the water. I wouldn't want to be out there in weather like this! CJ

Thanks Rod and Mrxdimension.
Rod, to emphasise darkness, doesnt one need to show some light?
Mrxdimension, this was taken at the end of a fishing expedtion...which had to be cut short due to the storm.
Location: St, Anns Bay, NovaScotia Canada.

Actually I do think this represents darkness based on my personal experience. It reminds me of the type of weather I'd see in the Thousand Island region of the St Lawrence. The wind and waves kicking up, the temperature dropping, the fishing getting really good. But I was always in a small boat and where I stayed was across the channel and miles away. The longer I stayed the more fun fishing, but also the worse the trip home. Thank you RK.

Really nice light which I'm not sure I should be looking at in a darkness challenge. Lovely shot but:-)
