Jano's idea could be the solution as the sunlit bit is well exposed. It could just bring the balance needed to make the sunlit bit a YES:-)

Yvonne - what would you do to the top? I think it is beautifully lit - the only thing would be if it is cropped to close at the top, which for me just cuts it off to fast.... I think more space at the top and less at the bottom may put the focus more on the lit area and sunrays.... Nicely done imo. jano

I luv the bottom 3/4 of the shot but I can't come to terms with the sunlit tip. The bottom 3/4 had me feeling romantic but when I got to the sunlit tip it was like you said NO:-)
