This looks great Jano. A most splendid macro. I prefer the composition of the shot in Exhibition, but love the warm tones in this one.

I like this rendition of your onions. Really nicely done. What else you going to do with 'em when you're not cooking? :-) Markjay

Thanks all for commenting. I also like the color better and detail. Cropped off the right to bring the texture more in focus. jano

You kept the best one of the two according to my taste Jano. Nice work.

I realize I am already out voted, but I prefer the other one. This one is just too close to the subjects in my opinion. They are both great shots. I would love to know the details of how you got the lighting so perfect.

Colors are richer in this one, Jano. You know, these onions are going anywhere (well, unless they've already found their way into a meal!), and I think the image would benefit from a bit more DOF, but still shallow enough to keep the back of the onions OOF.

They both are really nice. I think though this one edges out its competition.

I was thinking of onions myself. Hmm. well this is much better than anything I could have come up with.

Both shots look terrific but I think I like this one the best as the light looks perfect. Goodun Jano:-)
