I did not notice the subtle concentric rings in there initially, but that does add a cool element to the final results in this photo. Good work again! -Cat

Wow! ROD...this is a classic. Like the crop..shapes and lighting and lack of color. Would have worked very well for the simplicity challenge.

Manly, yes, but I like it too! The indention does make it look planetary!

Marbleous! I think that's our planet, and the reason I can't find my country is that you've obviously taken the shot from down under. /MisterMattias

Thank you girls:-) The blokes don't appreciate ahrrt or they're just miserable sods & don't make comments:-) Not much of a set up Y I just put the marble on one of our cook top burner rings & used a tea towel to prop under the lens..............Oh I nearly forgot the lighting set up....erm it's the kitchen flouro in the ceiling:-) I left the big shadow in Carole to make the shot manly:-) Thanks again girls you make logging on worthwhile.

Very interesting Rod - it DOES look like a galaxy! Is this a marble from a game? You could crop the bottom up to a little below the indentation but this looks good too. CJ
