I guess it's more like painting. I went to mode, grayscale, duotone, in a sepia tone I created, and then added the gold touch in the window using the paint bucket set at low opacity and flow.(?) From there I use my eye to paint with the burn and dodge tools until the image looks the way I imagine. I really don't have a set way of doing images like this one and I'm sure every one I do is done in a different manner, I use my eye to determine light and shadow and pay little attention to the steps taken. (There are many, I'm sure.) I have been inspired by the work of Jude MC who is a master at dodge and burn and who also adds poetry to her images. (She tells me she would also like to add some very unique music to her galleries as well.) I plan on doing a gallery with these experimentation images and will practice until I am able to perfect them. I'm glad you like this. I'm sure it's not perfect, but as I said, I will possibly get better with practice.
Thanks again. shu

This is wonderful Shu! I like the treatment as everyone else seems to as well, love the color coming out of one window. Very nice.
This is wonderful, Shu! It definitely looks haunted! Your color treatment is very interesting, and I mean that in a good way. It looks like a combination of b&w and sepia tone, can you tell us how you processed this? ~Sharon
