This is fun to look at If you throw exposure aside Todd. Does indeed look like a reverse silhouette.

This was a stingray exibit at seaworld orlando. I had been shooting the stingrays when the bird flew over to steal some food only a couple feet away. I was still using the exposure for the water and the bird was in the sunlight. it is a very white bird anyway and I thought the same thing it looked like a reverse silhouette.

My eyes!!! My word that's a blown highlight and a half. It almost looks like some kind of negative.

That's one really white bird Todd! I rather like the blown highlight look to this - like a reverse silhouette and kinda surreal, and it really emphasizes the eye and water! CJ
