I guess you don't have to color your water green for St. Patrick's Day over there. Not that you celebrate it that much, perhaps. But still :) Yes, good choice to leave it in color /MisterMattias

We have this too, I shot it last week-end but the color was not nearly this green. Yvonne

Very green and menacing but i'm not keen on the composition, my eyes are just wandering around. I'd prefer just the green/black area to the bottom left as we view with a sharper focus rather than all the tree branches.

I believe this stuff is called duckweed. Right now, it's the most colorful stuff around here - we don't get a lot of fall color in Nebraska. You can be walking along enjoying the various (dull) yellows and (mostly) browns and all of a sudden you come upon a pond full of this bright green stuff. (If other Nebraskans read this, forgive my humor - I grew up in northern New York where there are _real_ colors in the fall.)

I did try making it B&W. Made it boring, too, I thought.

Wow; looks like a drainage ditch outside an unethical pea soup factory- that's some crazy green.

You almost expect a large hand to reach up out of the green slime and grab you! Well shot. Henry D

Oh, I love the green! It's what makes the picture for me! I just don't want to swim in it!

Did you try this in b/w Irv? I'm not sure about that green! ;-) CJ
