Me too Mattias. I thought there was a mirror between the two "Pews" (is that an English word).

Wow, I was looking at it from the "wrong" angle first and couldn't see what it was. It looked like some sort of abstract painting. It still does now when I see what it is. And I got to learn a new word as well. Pew. This is great, thanks! :) /MisterMattias

Yeah, the books all lined up really add to the surreal nature of the photo. Really well done!

Thanks, Aam. I was in the balcony trying unsuccessfully to capture beams of colored light coming through the stained-glass windows (sun was not bright enough) when I spotted this one spot of light in the darkened church. I also have to thank some very orderly person who lined up all those books so neatly.

This is so good it doesn't look real. Excellent composition and exposure, and love the colors too.

Thank you, Christina. I've actually tried cropping it a couple of different ways, but I don't want to lose the pews on the left or the ones on the top. However, I may try doing it with a shot I took from a slightly different angle.

This is really neat! The wonderful colors and light add such an abstraction to the photo. Have you thought of cropping it from the left so that all you see are pews? That would make it even more abstract.
