Thanks, Jano! I guess it doesn't work if I have to explain it! The idea was supposed to be that I was throwing my arm over my head to keep the morning light out so I could sleep longer. Thus the little bit of light coming in around my eye. I was aiming at having my ear and hand in focus and I really liked the waves of hair echoing the shape of my ear. I do appreciate your comments, thanks! ~Sharon

Sharon - I think less of your shoulder/arm and more of the light coming on to your face would have worked better here. My eye is drawn to your ear which, although in nice focus, doesn't intrigue me. I'm just not seeing the "morning light". Perhaps I'm missing the point. Even more of the eye squinting against the light would be workable? jano

Really nice soft lighting here. Excellent focus as well. I like that you chose your hand and ear instead of your arm.

Really nicely done Sharon wiv the nice light on the front of your face. Very well framed by your arm too. You get some great ideas & manage to get them into a shot. Great work:-)
