Thanks, CJ. I just have PS Elements 2, and am not real familiar with it. I had tried to get the sky richer, but adding contrast & darkening seemed to make the left end knothole & fence too dark. If I had used a polarizer filter when taking original pic, would that have made the sky deeper blue, but not changed the fence color?

Nice shot Jim! I think if you upped the contrast and darken the image and then do a little noise reduction, you'd have a stronger image that would make the knotholes and texture of the wood more prominant and make the sky a little bluer and the clouds more apparent. I like this picture! CJ
