Thanks Sharon:-)

I like this a lot, Rod! I prefer the b&w version. The patterns are wonderful and the slight diagonal in the composition really makes for a dynamic shot. Good work! ~Sharon

Thanks Brent:-) When the Jpeg starts going down to low quality at 700 on the long side I downsize it again to 600 to get a higher quality Jpeg. That's wot happened to this.

Great image Rod. I like it equally in both versions. There is a lot going on here- must have been hard to compress it to 150K.

Thanks Jano, Mary Anne, b.c. Christina Lee & Sue Anne:-) Back to B&W now, Here's the colour one.

Well Rod, I'm happy to see the color. I still like it better! But maybe this time the slim majority goes to B&W! That would be fitting!

Well, after initiating the color vs. b/w issue, I have to admit that I like the b/w better. However, it still seems awfully busy to me.

I like this patterns and like the b & w version now that I see both you shown. Good view looking into the bridge.

That is a lot of pattern. I think the BW works better.

This is great. I really think though that I like the subtly colored shot better. It all just feels so much more put together in color. The subtle tan color that slowly darkens as we move down the frame seems to help pull my eye through the photo.
ctfchallenge22-Sep-2006 21:37
that's a large collection of repeating patterns there, Rod! I wouldn't have guessed it was a bridge... - b.c.

It certainly has patterns, Rod, but I find the image kind of confusing, as there's no place for the eye to land. How does it look in color?

Very awesome! Again, the patterns in this really catches the eye and most importantly, is an interesting image. jano
