Thank you Techo. you are right...bw, shadow/light and texture are always a good combination. -Abstract

I didn't catch the earlier versions of the photo but this does look really good. The b/w looks great and so does the mix of various textures.

Thank you Jano and Brent. This is actually shot of an empty-small parking lot...only 15 parking spots at that. its the perspective and downward angle make it look like looong. Thank you for your comments. -Abstract

Lots of patterns here and great texture. I like your comp a lot too Abstract.

Some of that Nebraska construction I drove through no doubt on my way to Colorado? lol Great shot Abs :) Glad you are back at it. This is really a great shot of repetitive patterns and b&w treatment. Great job. jano

Thank you bc, Henry and CJ. I agree with you all about the shadows, so now they are gone. Thanks for the suggestion. As the corner (top left) shadows do not interact with (distract from) the main subject and importantly define the leading pattern (going from bottom left to top right corner), I think, they are important part of the composition. Again thank you for helping me make this shot better. -Abstract

I like this a lot Abs but I think I'd crop a bit off the top to eliminate the dark part of the upper left including all those shadows up there that Henry mentioned and maybe then a tad off the right to cut off the weed. Very nice shot! CJ

Very nice pattern, I like this crop also, rather than have the bottom shadow run off photo. The only distraction I found were the long shadows coming in from the left, at the top, but only a minor one.

the corner to corner composition emphasizes the seemingly endless pattern quite well. I really like the contrast and texture to the shot too. great shot - b.c.

I tried the crop but that made the first shadow look humongous, so I kept the original crop. Thank you for the suggestion and comment, Lee. -Abstract

I like this. I might consider a tighter crop at the bottom to give the appearance of the pattern not stopping or starting on screen.
