Beer? Niec take. * What about darkening the luminous blurb in the upper part?

I like it Paul (and would the contents too). I thought Guiness at first, but I think the head would have had a creamier texture if it were. Nice work.

nice one Paul. Lovely "content"!
:))

Paul.... this is such an extraordinary image - I love it! Such warm colors, and the soft light on the bubbles is amazing. You've outdone yourself here!!! My only nit pick would be that I wish a tad more light on the bottom part of the image to bring out more of the bubbles of the brew to make more of a pattern than just the tippy top. I think then you would have pattern heaven here. jano

Casserole? Soap suds? Stupid bugger. It's a schooner of Pils actually, the darkness is because i cranked the exposure right down to get that nice glow of sun. I felt this was a photograph i should do rather than wanted to so on a glorous spring sunday afternoon i sat in the front garden with a carton of Pils struggling to bring something to life. It was hard but i managed to turn alcohol into art:>) You should have seen the patterns i saw later that night......

It's a tough life...:)

Still looks like soap suds & gravy to me. Still I spose southerners will drink anything:-)

I thought Guinness too when I first saw it. not the first place I'd have thought to look for a pattern, but a great find. I like the wide crop, as well as the golden light in the background and the sparkly highlights. - b.c.

It's Guinness. Anyone can see that ;-) Either way, it's an interesting macro. -Mattias

This looks like beer to me! (And it shocks me that one of the "girls" can see that and the "guys" can't!) :) It looks to be a dark, heavy, frothy beer... no?

this is no beer? I'm disappointed :^)

Is this Paul trying for a girls shot by showing us how you wash the casserole dish? Why did you call it Nightcap I thought a nightcap was a schooner of beer.
